That's #1 out of a total of 28 Cat 4 women criterium racers in Massachusetts. For comparison, 506.79 points would put me into 41st place out of 82 riders in IL. Quite a difference. According to the USA Cycling ranking FAQ, their new ranking system takes into account who you race against, as well as how you do. So having a the chutzpah to put yourself out there against strong people pays off. So thanks, Illinois women, for being such strong, badass racers. Hopefully I can make you proud here on the East Coast.
